ZZA generates a rich bank of concepts, evidence and commentary. Many of our studies hold a mirror to clients, involving structured forward action. This is proprietary. But ZZA’s thinking is widely shared – in books and published reports, through frequent presentations at national and international events, in academic teaching and judging awards. We contribute on expert panels that influence planning, design, building use and management. The links show a selection of publications, presentation titles and awards schemes we’ve judged.
We also lead bespoke briefing tours, using our extensive knowledge of buildings to select apt exemplars, and our relations with building owners, occupiers are designers to secure site visits. Please contact us to arrange briefing programmes that meet your group’s interests.
How Is It For You? Building Design as Experienced by Users and Makers sets out ZZA’s distinctive approach in Design Anthropology, illustrated by practice assignments commissioned to inform briefing and design, and recommend action for enhanced space management and curation.
