Intensifying sense of place
Following Parabola’s acquisition of the traditional Edinburgh Park business development in 2013, ZZA supported the team on strategic concepts, uses and design guidance. Applying our approach and learning’s from ZZA’s bespoke UX:SPACE, UX:WORKPLACE and UX:CAMPUS, we helped inform the master plan and initial buildings for Phase 2 of this significant site, as a forward-looking mixed use development that includes housing.
As new buildings and facilities have been developed, ZZA has undertaken research with users, building profiles of productive and enjoyable use, bringing to life ‘stories’ that communicate Edinburgh Park’s appeal to wider audiences.
